Ferrari 812 GTO with quad-taillights & crazy exhaust spied!

Thanks to the latest spy images, we can now confirm that the Ferrari 812 GTO / Imola will get a completely redesigned rear fascia.

As you can see in these images, the car has quad taillights with a ducktail spoiler on top. It also has a rather large rear diffuser.

However, something that really caught our attention is the exhaust. The rectangular metal pieces nestled between the outermost vanes of the diffuser could be the exhaust. Now, this is just a hunch as we’re not expert aerodynamicists – Ferrari could be using the curtain of exhaust gases to improve the efficiency of the diffuser.

Besides this, the 812 GTO appears to have redesigned side skirts  and vents on the front fenders.

It’s still not official but there is a big chance that the car could be called the 812 Imola. We have discussed this in a previous article.

Under the bonnet will be a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that is said to produce 878 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The car is also likely to get the most advanced F1 dual-clutch transmission.
