Ferrari 812 GTO: Possible Engine Specs & Price leaked!

If rumors are true, then in about a months time, we will get to see the Ferrari 812 GTO “Versione Speciale” in all its glory. The recent leaked image has only helped fuel the excitement.

Here’s what we know so far –

Exterior

Rumors suggest that the 812 GTO will get a much larger rear diffuser, a redesigned front bumper with a larger intake and prominent aero vents on the bonnet with side vents similar to the F12 tdf.

As expected, it will feature lots of carbon fibre. However, the painted shields on the fenders will not be part of the standard package.

Engine specs

There are more rumors circulating on social media about the possible engine specs of the 812 GTO. It is expected to be powered by a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine tuned to produce 878 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. It is also said that the V12 screams to 10,000 rpm!

The car will come equipped with a louder exhaust, a new F1 differential and steering system.

Price

There are conflicting reports about the number cars that will be built. Some say, it’s 1200 cars with 999 being coupes, while the rest will be Apertas. Others have stated that there will be 499 Apertas.

Either way, it’s going to be a highly exclusive machine and you will have to be among Ferrari’s VIP clients to get a chance to own one. Also, you should be willing to shell out around $750,000.
