If the Luce EV didn’t excite the petrolheads, this one for sure will. A Ferrari 12Cilindri VS prototype has been spotted testing. Although wearing heavy camouflage, it gives out a few key details of the upcoming supercar.
What gives away that this is a Ferrari 12Cilindri Versione Speciale is the huge ducktail spoiler at the back. It is clearly visible in the spy shots. Apart from that, we can also notice that the prototype has a reworked front bumper with some new aero bits.

There is also a pair of what appears to be fake exhaust tips. Most likely, they are here only for testing purposes and perhaps to hide the actual redesigned exhaust tips. Whatever the case, you wouldn’t be finding them on the production model. Well, at least not in this goofy presentation.
As the name suggests, the Ferrari 12Cilindri VS will be a special and more hardcore version of the standard model. It will be sportier, lighter, and sharper. While details remain scarce at the moment, it will use the familiar 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, but it will be tuned to churn out more power.
Ferrari is expected to reveal a manual version of the 12Cilindri to clients during the Ferrari Cavalcade this month. It is likely to be called the 12Cilindri MM, while the upcoming hardcore version could be the new GTO.
