Fast N’ Loud: Richard Rawlings’ stolen Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Recovered

Fast N’ Loud host and Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings’ stolen Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has finally been recovered after around nine months.

If you are a fan of Fast N’ Loud, you’re not a stranger to Gas Monkey Garage and Richard Rawlings. The entrepreneur and TV show host loves his cars and has a thing for the new breed of Dodge Chargers and Challengers. He even owned the second Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat ever made. Sadly that Hellcat was stolen around nine months ago.

Despite seeking the help of the cops and requesting fans to help him locate the stolen Challenger, Rawlings didn’t meet with any luck until recently. But now the social media pages of Gas Monkey Garage have posted updates on a local repossession agent successfully tracking down the stolen muscle car.

It seems the black Challenger was abandoned by the thief near an industrial complex and closer inspection revealed that the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 which produces 707 hp of power and 650 lb-ft of torque hadn’t been fired up in a long time. Covered in dust along with a bunch of scratches and dents, the Challenger did respond to the keyless remote’s call to unlock the doors though.

It refused to start as the battery didn’t have much juice left, confirming the theory that it was laying there abandoned for a significant number of days. The interior smelled of weed and an important photo was missing from the car.

The latest season of Fast N’ Loud will debut in July 2019. We may get to learn more about the repossessed Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Richard Rawlings’ plans for it in the upcoming season.
