Some cars leave behind stories that deserve to be told properly. The Bugatti EB110 is one of them, and a new documentary aims to revisit one of the most fascinating chapters in supercar history.
Titled RASÒUN D’ÈSER, the film will premiere on May 29 at Cinema Raffaello in Modena during the Motor Valley Fest. Entry is free, though seats will be snapped up quickly, with prior registration required.
The project, developed by the Associazione Storico Culturale Bugatti Automobili Campogalliano, dives deep into the human side of the EB110 story. Conceived by young enthusiasts Matteo Esposito and Leonardo Gatto, the documentary brings together rare archival footage – including raw VHS recordings from inside the now-defunct Campogalliano factory.
But it’s the voices that truly elevate it. Legends like Romano Artioli, Loris Bicocchi, Maurizio Reggiani, and Mate Rimac share insights on the engineering side of things and personal memory. The result promises to be more than nostalgia. It’s a heartfelt, behind-the-scenes look at the people, passion, and madness that created one of Bugatti’s most iconic machines.
