The 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package has been unveiled in Miami, Florida. Marking the culmination of the Lexus IS 25th Legacy Tour, this special edition brings in some really interesting upgrades and features.
Based on the IS 350 F SPORT, the special package introduces a new Envious green exterior finish paired with 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels. The cabin gets black NuLuxe seats with Ultrasuede inserts, green stitching and satin chrome accents.
Lexus has included its Handling Package as standard, bringing sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension and, on rear-wheel-drive cars, a Torsen limited-slip differential. A Technology Package adds features including Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist and Front Cross-Traffic Alert.
Power comes from the familiar naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6, producing 311 hp and 280 lb ft of torque. Buyers can choose rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic or all-wheel drive with a six-speed automatic.
Lexus will build just 350 examples of the Special Appearance Package for North America, with cars expected to reach dealerships later this year. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.

Lexus has a unique opportunity to shakeup the sector with a new ISF. The RS5, G80 and soon to be electric and hybrid new versions, as well as the hybrid C63 and soon to be V8 CLE have all brought some new flavor to the sector while Lexus has kept the same car for over a decade. They can bring an inline 6, V6, or even a V8 with some fresh styling and AWD options (to not exclude people in climates like mine (CO)). If they do this with some good styling they can be highly successful and us car lovers would love seeing a JDM name back in the race for this sporty small sedan sector! Don’t let us down Lexus, the more options the better
