The Rimac Nevera is a record-breaking machine, something built for setting headlines, not cruising highways. But Chris Brown just proved otherwise. The British explorer drove the all-electric hypercar around 1600 miles (2,700 km) from Yorkshire to Trogir, Croatia, across four days and seven countries.

Setting off from Harrogate on May 28, Brown skipped predictable routes. After crossing into Europe, he detoured through the poles of inaccessibility in Belgium and Luxembourg, then carved through Bavaria, Austria, Slovenia, and Lake Bled before reaching Croatia via Zagreb – Rimac’s home turf.

On paper, the Rimac Nevera is anything but relaxed. Its four electric motors deliver 1888 hp and 1741 lb ft of torque. It can launch to 62 mph in 1.81 seconds and carry on to 256 mph. The more extreme Nevera R pushes that even further. Yet on this journey, the car revealed a different character – quiet, spacious, and surprisingly comfortable over long distances.

A 120 kWh battery offers around 300 miles of WLTP range, while ultra-fast 500 kW charging can take it from 0-80% in just 19 minutes. Brown relied on the IONITY network, where Rimac owners benefit from years of unlimited charging across Europe.

This journey shows a different side of the Rimac Nevera. It proved that it can handle real-world conditions just as confidently as it handles record runs.
