Aston Martin has finally launched the teaser campaign for its upcoming limited-edition GT model. It is expected to be based on the Vanquish and will join the Valour and Valiant as one of the more exclusive offerings.
The new Vanquish-based limited-edition model, codenamed ‘Outrage’, will be unveiled at The Quail during the Monterey Car Week. Details are scarce, but we can expect the car to get a bespoke exterior design, unlike anything we’ve seen before.
The new GT could be powered by the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine from the Vanquish. This unit makes 824 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, but Aston Martin might extract more performance from it with a different tune.
Aston Martin is likely to offer only 150 units of the Vanquish-based GT. It could be priced at around $2.3 million.
