For 2027, the Lexus LS receives another round of chassis and comfort upgrades, although the changes fall well short of what we can call a full refresh.
Lexus has reinforced the centre tunnel along with the front and rear sections of the body, while new damping structures have been added to the rear suspension and luggage braces. The aim is to reduce high-frequency vibrations and make the large sedan feel more composed.
The suspension and electric power steering have also been retuned. Lexus says the revisions reduce body roll and pitch while delivering more linear responses and a more natural steering feel through corners.
A panoramic roof is now available across the range, with a mesh deflector designed to reduce wind noise when opened. At the rear, the traditional Lexus badge has been replaced by the brand’s script lettering.
The 2027 Lexus LS is sold in Japan exclusively as the LS 500h, powered by a 3.5-litre V6 hybrid. Prices range from 14.14 million to 18.05 million yen (around $91,700 to $117,000).
