McLaren dealers have reportedly been given an early look at the company’s three upcoming models. One of them would be a new supercar. Known internally as the P34, the mid-engined model is reportedly being developed around a twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain producing around 810 hp.

The petrol engine and gearbox are said to be developed in-house, while electric assistance could push torque to roughly 800 lb-ft. Exact figures will have to wait for the official reveal.

The styling is expected to take inspiration from the legendary McLaren F1. Reports also point to a more luxurious cabin, with plush leather upholstery and a glass engine cover offering a view of the V6.

Despite its performance figures, the P34 could be positioned at a relatively accessible price for a modern McLaren supercar. Reports suggest a starting price of around $313,000. McLaren is reportedly targeting sales of around 1,000 examples during the first year.
