Ferrari is working on two new versions of the F80 hypercar. Besides the open-top F80 Aperta, a new track-focused version is also on the cards.
An official trademark filed in May this year suggests that the new hardcore version could be called the F80 XX, and here are the first images.

The Ferrari F80 XX was recently spotted testing at the Portimao circuit in Portugal. The images are a bit fuzzy, but some of the modifications made are pretty obvious.
The first thing you would notice is the massive wing at the back. Unlike the standard F80, which comes with an active spoiler that can be raised or lowered, the F80 XX appears to have a fixed swan-neck wing, possibly with a DRS function.

The car also gets other aero upgrades such as a more aggressive front splitter and rear diffuser and a small upright fin on the roof.
Another major difference between the standard F80 and the F80 XX is around the exhaust. On the F80, the exhaust sticks out of the rear fascia, but on the F80 XX, it is positioned on the engine cover just below the wing.
