Cadillac is refining its in-car tech experience with a series of thoughtful updates. There will be larger touchscreen buttons for frequently used controls—something that should reduce missed taps and make interactions smoother while driving.
For example, for music streaming, Cadillac is introducing a side-mounted queue that displays upcoming tracks. It works with select subscriptions, including Spotify, and is paired with a new dropdown source selector that allows quick switching between audio apps.
Apart from that, new on-screen graphics now mirror the physical seat controls found on the doors, making adjustments easier to understand at a glance. Electric vehicle owners will also benefit from simplified charging notifications, along with clearer labels and descriptions across the system.
There are visual improvements too. Head-up displays now feature sharper text and graphics. The Bluetooth pairing process has also been streamlined by removing an extra step.
All these updates will be rolled out via OTA to models like the Cadillac CT5, Lyriq, Optiq, and Vistiq. Other models are expected to get the software update at a later stage.
