The Ford Mustang Gen3 Supercar is heading beyond Australian circuits for a rare international appearance. Red Bull will showcase the V8 touring car at the Drift Masters round in Ireland, scheduled for June 13–14 at Mondello Park.

The Dick Johnson Racing-built machine (owned by Ford) will take centre stage as a full-blown show car, representing the latest Gen3 evolution. It’s lighter, sharper and far more aggressive than its predecessor.

The Mustang has already had a global tour of sorts. It spent time in the United States during development, including runs in the Windshear wind tunnel. More recently, it grabbed attention when Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen drove it in Las Vegas, followed by Supercars legend Jamie Whincup pushing it at Homestead-Miami.

There’s growing speculation that, dressed in Red Bull Ampol Racing’s 2026 livery, the Mustang Supercar could also appear at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which would put it in front of one of the most passionate motorsport audiences in the world.
