A new video from CarSpyMedia on YouTube has captured the Mercedes-AMG CLE Coupe undergoing testing at the Nürburgring. The prototype is said to be extracting power from a V8 engine.
Yes, the Mercedes-AMG CLE Coupe test mule is bearing full camouflage but we can still decipher some of its features. For instance, there is a newly designed front bumper that accommodates big air intakes. It also has some aero bits.
Apart from that, the car also seems to have flared fenders. It is riding much lower and running on a wider set of tyres. And, of course, we cannot miss the massive wing at the back and the quad exhaust.
What’s expected under the hood of the AMG CLE Coupe is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 pumping out 646 hp. Reports suggest that when launched, it might remain a very exclusive piece, with only 30 units seeing the light of day.
