The Lamborghini Aventador went into production back in 2011. Now, the iconic poster car of the millennials has been given a final update before its replacement arrives sometime around 2023.

The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is quite rightly the ultimate version of the Aventador. It will make its public debut at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Aventador Ultimae is powered by the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that we’ve seen on previous iterations of the supercar. Of course, the ultimate version had to be special. So, Lambo has dialled the engine to 780 hp and 531 lb-ft. According to Lamborghini, 0-62 mph comes up in 2.8 seconds and the top speed is 221 mph!

The Ultimae uses a lot of carbon fibre in its construction. As a result, the dry weight of car is just 1550 kg. The coupe weighs 25 kg less than the Aventador S.
