2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S facelift debuts with more power & tech
Porsche has officially revealed the latest iteration of the 911 Carrera S. The 2025 edition of the sports car promises to be “the most dynamic” yet and comes with added power and new features.
The 911 Carrera S facelift (992.2) slots between the base 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera GTS. It is powered by an upgraded 3.0-liter, twin-turbo, 6-cylinder boxer engine that produces 473 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. That’s 30 hp more than the pre-facelift version.
The engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels. Porsche claims the new Carrera S can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 191 mph.
As far as features are concerned, the 911 Carrera S facelift comes with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, a sports exhaust system and upgraded brakes. The car rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Ceramic brakes and PASM sports suspension with rear-wheel steering are offered as an option.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S will be available as a Coupe or Cabriolet.
