Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera crashes into trailer in California

A Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera has been destroyed in a crash in California.

A green Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera crashed into a construction trailer in Costa Mesa, CA on Saturday. The driver identified as Cesar Castro Rodriguez, 31, has been arrested on the suspicion of DUI.

Images of a crashed Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera have surfaced online. The supercar can be seen wedged under the construction trailer. While it does look like a horrendous crash, fortunately, both occupants escaped serious injuries.

When the police arrived at the accident scene on Whittier Avenue at around 2.10 am, they saw a green Lamborghini wedged under an unstable trailer and downed power lines in the vicinity. The rescue team toiled for 45 minutes to get into the car. However, the passenger had reportedly gotten out of the vehicle and left the scene way before the rescue arrived.
