VIDEO: Four guys push a Mercedes-AMG Project One up a ramp

You need four guys to push a Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar up a ramp. Not something you’d expect from a million dollar supercar with a Formula 1 engine in the back.
Mercedes-Benz brought the Project One to the Amelia Island Concourse d’Elegance recently. It was probably the same car which was showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It seems the show car had no engine but it did have an electric motor. As it turns out, it wasn’t built to go up ramps.
The real thing has a 1.6-litre, V6 petrol hybrid powertrain borrowed from the Mercedes’ championship winning F1 car. The hybrid system consists of four electric motors and the combined output is claimed to be around 1000 hp.
Mercedes is building just 275 examples of the Project One, each costing around $2.5 million.
