Track-focused Aston Martin Valkyrie launch date confirmed!
Earlier this week, we got our first look at an extreme track version of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. While that was an unofficial leak, the automaker has now confirmed that the new version will be unveiled on June 28, 2021.
The leaked images had revealed a car that no one had seen before. Yes, it will be based on the Valkyrie, but by the looks of it, it will be so much more than the standard hypercar.
The most prominent change on the exterior is that massive rear spoiler, which along with the shark fin remind us of Le Mans hypercars. The car also has a double splitter at the front, aero-optimized wheels and racecar-like wing mirrors. Also, the so-called barge boards behind the front wheels appear larger than those on the standard Valkyrie.
We know that Aston Martin is building at least four variants of the Valkyrie. Obviously, a track-only version seems like a no-brainer. We have also heard rumors about a Valkyrie LM. We will know for sure if our guess about this being the LM was true in a few days.
