Top Gear watches the Creation of the 300 MPH Koenigsegg Jesko

Top Gear managed to gain access to the Koenigsegg Jesko creation process and now they have released the footage for us to drool over, responsibly.

Top Gear series may not be what it used to be in the past. But the IP still commands respect and recognition in the circles where it matters and that gives the team privileged access to places which are otherwise denied to car journalists. Take this recent video for instance – a 20-minute-long footage which was shot at the carmaker’s factory even before the Koenigsegg Jesko made its spectacular debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

It doesn’t need any more loud noises to establish the fact that the Jesko was easily the most anticipated hypercar of the show. A machine which its makers are seriously working on, in order to transform it into the destroyer of the 300 mph barrier. And we have absolute faith in Christian Koenigsegg and his team at Ängelholm, Sweden. They are going to make that dream a reality in the near future.

The Top Gear video is a tour of the Koenigsegg facility with Deputy Editor Jack Rix taking on the role of the tour guide. It gives us a glimpse of the place which crafts some of the greatest hypercars of this generation. We also get to take a look at the Koenigsegg Jesko being readied for its big, flashy Geneva debut and the boss man himself speaks about the company’s plans for the future.

The video is a bit long for those who would prefer short video clips to process info. But take the time and do give it a chance. It does absolute justice to the painstaking process involved in creating a million dollar hypercar today.
