McLaren has once again teased its upcoming manual hypercar. Internally called the P50, the new model will feature three pedals and a proper manual transmission with an exposed linkage.
The McLaren P50 is inspired by the M6GT, which was the brand’s first road car. It was developed from the M6A Can-Am race car and had a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Details are scarce, but we expect a hypercar with a unique exterior design with a hint of the M6GT. We were told that McLaren plans to build fewer than 100 examples of the P50. However, this figure might change.
