Spy shots of a new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra have surfaced on the internet. The prototype is said to be a sportier version of the already insane ultra-high-performance electric sedan.
The reason speculations suggest it is a sportier version is because of the bodywork. We can see that the car is fitted with various upgraded aero elements such as a massive rear wing and revised diffuser.
Even the front end of the sportier Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is equipped with a reworked splitter and bigger air intake channels. We can also see similar aero bits on the front wheel arches. All of these design elements are expected to work in unison to provide the extra aerodynamic help required to keep the EV glued to the tarmac.
As for the performance, the current Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has a tri-motor setup that puts out 1500+ hp. 0-62 mph and 0-124 mph come up in 1.98 and 5.86 seconds, respectively. The sportier version of the electric sedan is rumoured to pack close to or even over 2000 hp.
