Rendering: 2021 Jaguar F-Type looks sharp & mean in SVR guise

Last week, Jaguar unveiled the new F-Type with updated styling. Sadly, there’s no F-Type SVR, this time around.

Thanks to Photoshop, we can at least let our imagination run wild. This rendering by Aksyonov Nikita gives us a good idea of how the F-Type SVR might have looked liked.

The artist’s rendering of the SVR looks sharp and mean. The larger grille in gloss black is set low down and the slim headlights add to the aggressive looks. It appears to have carbon inserts on the front bumper and a carbon front splitter. On the side, you have carbon inserts on the front fenders and carbon rocker panel extensions. The rear features a large fixed spoiler and sportier diffuser with quad exhausts.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR was offered with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 producing 575 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It allowed the 2-door coupe to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph.

This time however, the F-Type R is the most powerful variant you can buy. It still uses a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8. The output is also identical at 575 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
