In 2022, an ultra-rare Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta crashed during a rally in Croatia. With just 3 cars produced with a price tag of $17 million, it surely couldn’t be scrapped and had to be rebuilt. 2 years after the accident, the owner shared an update on social media confirming that the HP Barchetta was ready to hit the road again.
Although most of the original bodywork was damaged in the accident, the owner had a plan. He wanted to turn it into an art piece. So, the carbon exterior panels were refurbished and assembled into a bare shell of the Zonda HP Barchetta, which the owner now plans to hang on his living room wall.
Meanwhile, the rebuilt Zonda HP Barchetta has already been spotted on the streets of Warsaw, Poland. It retains the matte carbon exterior with gold accents and rides on new wheels with matching gold rims. It is powered by a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated AMG V12 paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
