One-off Koenigsegg Jesko Hydra has purple flakes in its carbon!

Here’s the second purple supercar of the day for you. This is the one-off Koenigsegg Jesko Hydra.

The Jesko Hydra is named after the 9-headed mythological creature called Lernaean Hydra. It is the most unique spec Koenigsegg has ever created. For starters, the Jesko Hydra has a custom aero package. It has a front splitter and twin canards on either side as well as louvres on the front fenders. At the back, you have a massive top-mounted active spoiler and a shark fin. This is the high-downforce version unlike the Jesko Absolut, which can reach a top speed in excess of 300 mph.

But, the most interesting part of the spec is the exposed carbon fiber bodywork, which features purple flakes that glitter when light hits them.

The interior is finished in black Alcantara with purple stitching. The Hydra lettering has been embroidered onto the dashboard on the passenger side. Also note the Hydra logo on the headrests. The same logo can seen on the shark fin.

As you know, the Jesko is the replacement for the Agera. It is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that pushes out 1280 hp (1600 hp on E85) and 1106 lb-ft of max torque. The engine is hooked up to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission, which Koenigsegg refers to as the Light Speed Transmission or LST.

The Jesko Hydra is also fitted with lightweight carbon wheels that are actually hollow. As you can see in the images, the brake calipers are painted in the same purple color.
