Last year, McLaren had released a 360-degree video of a lap of the Bahrain International Circuit on-board a Senna GTR.
Here’s another on-board video of the same car, but this time at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. As you can see, the car is blisteringly quick in a straight line and darts around corners without breaking a sweat.
The Senna GTR is the track-only version of the Senna. It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 which now produces 814 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
Keeping it company is some rather special machinery. We could spot a few Porsches, a Mercedes-AMG GT race car, a Ford GT and even an Aston Martin Vulcan!
Not too long ago, a few wealthy enthusiasts front the US got together and persuaded McLaren to build a road-going version of the GTR. Thus, the McLaren Sabre was born.
