Mercedes-Benz is streamlining its lineup for the 2027 model year, dropping several models and trims across its Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach ranges.
The biggest change is the end of the EQE sedan, which will no longer be offered in either standard Mercedes-Benz or AMG form. The electric sedan was positioned as an alternative to the conventional E-Class, but its run is now coming to an end.

Mercedes is also removing the AMG S63 E Performance from the lineup. The high-performance S-Class combined a twin-turbocharged V8 with plug-in hybrid assistance, making it one of the most powerful versions of the flagship sedan.
At the luxury end, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is also being dropped for 2027. That leaves Mercedes with fewer electric and ultra-luxury variants as the company continues to reshape its product range.
