Mercedes-AMG is gearing up to debut its first-ever electric SUV. You may have already seen spy images and digital renderings of the new model. Now here’s what is believed to be the first leaked image showing the actual electric AMG GT SUV.
The Mercedes-AMG GT electric SUV features a bold and muscular design. It has a typical AMG grille with chrome elements and L-shaped headlights. The large air dam has vertical strakes and is flanked by additional cooling vents.

The electric SUV has a sculpted hood, and AMG has retained the odd slot that was first seen on the latest AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. It has a smooth shoulder line, featuring flush-fitting door handles and flared rear fenders.

AMG’s electric SUV is expected to be powered by the same axial flux electric motors as the GT 4-Door. The latter has three of these—one in the front and one each to power the rear wheels. Together they deliver 1153 hp and 1475 lb-ft of torque.
