Lamborghini Urus Performante plug-in hybrid spied testing
A test mule of a Lamborghini Urus was recently spotted at the Nürburgring. While it might look like a regular Urus SE, reports suggest that it might be something more exciting – an Urus Performante?
The Urus Performante was discontinued following the introduction of the Urus SE in April last year. It’s too early for a facelift and therefore, it seems more likely that Lamborghini is working on a sportier version of the plug-in hybrid SUV.
The Urus Performante is expected to feature a more aggressive front bumper, different wheels, a reworked rear bumper and roof spoiler. The interior will be largely similar, except for maybe some tech upgrades.
Currently, the Urus SE comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system. It generates 789 hp @ 6000 rpm and 701 lb-ft @ 1750-5750 rpm. We can expect the Performante version to have a slightly higher overall output. It might also get tweaked suspension, among other upgrades.
