Koenigsegg Gemera vandalised in front of a 5-star hotel in Denmark

1 Min Read

A Koenigsegg Gemera has been badly vandalised outside Copenhagen’s Hotel d’Angleterre, with stones reportedly thrown at the car, smashing its windows, doors and mirrors.

The damaged Koenigsegg Gemera is finished in a beautiful red. It is understood to be the very first customer car, and it had been driven extensively around Denmark over the past few weeks. Its owner had reportedly covered hundreds of miles, enjoying the four-seat hypercar on public roads.

That experience came to an ugly end when someone attacked the car while it was parked outside the luxury hotel. Photographs show considerable damage to the glass and exterior.

The motive remains unknown. Whether it was an act of jealousy, mindless vandalism, or something more deliberate is unclear, and there is no indication yet of who was responsible.

Hopefully, surveillance footage or other evidence will help Danish police identify the culprit. For now, an exceptionally rare Koenigsegg has been left needing an expensive repair.
