Hobbs and Shaw: First IMAGE and VIDEO from the Fast and Furious Spin-off Location!

The Rock has shared the first image from the filming location of the Fast and Furious spin-off – Hobbs and Shaw – on his Instagram page.

A McLaren 720S served as the backdrop for the first picture from the filming location of the high octane action thriller coming your way in 2019. The first Fast and Furious spin-off – Hobbs and Shaw – has officially commenced shooting and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced it with his usual charm and excitement on Instagram.

What appears to be shot at the movie’s current production location in the United Kingdom, the image features the second leading man – Jason Statham – and director, David Leitch. Both of them seem to be extremely happy with the beginning of the spectacular film-making journey that they are about to embark on.

Hobbs and Shaw will see the Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), teaming up to take on the Idris Elba’s baddie, with director David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2 Atomic Blonde) calling the shots.

Coming to cars in the image, the McLaren 720S is flanked by a Ferrari California T on the right and what we guess is a Lamborghini Murcielago SV on the left. And the video below proves that Statham arrives in the 720S.

Is Statham’s Deckard Shaw about to crash a party as part of his business of kicking butt and taking names? Is this scene to be followed by a supercharged chase? Well, we’ll know for sure when the spin-off hits theaters on August 2, 2019.

What’s better than a location pic? A behind the scenes video from an eagle-eyed YouTuber! Check it out below.

In his Instagram post, The Rock has also stated that he will be joining the action in London in two weeks. This party is going to get bigger – in every sense of the word – once the Samoan Thor makes his superhero landing in Great Britain.

Coming to the main saga. Fast and Furious 9 will start production in April 2019. You can read up about that in our post here.
