Hennessey Performance has just waved its magic wand and produced the world’s most powerful Dodge Demon. The output figures of this project build are just insane – 1700 hp, 1400 lb ft!
Let’s just quickly address the elephant in the room – the engine. This Dodge Demon is running on a fully reworked 7.2L Gen III HEMI V8 engine, accompanied by twin turbochargers. And with some Hennessey sorcery, it puts out an astonishing 1,355 rear-wheel horsepower and 1,202 lb-ft of torque in max boost mode at 23 psi!
Of course, a lot of engineering and aftermarket parts have also gone into the build – a high-flow stainless exhaust, upgraded fuel injectors, billet turbo wastegates and blow-off valves, and a fully integrated turbo oil feed and drain system, extensive heat management solutions, fortified drivetrain featuring a Stage 3 transmission, billet torque converter, upgraded driveshaft, and whatnot.
Clearly and undoubtedly, this has to be one of the most extreme American muscle builds ever created. Hennessey has decided to produce only 12 units worldwide, and guess what, all Dodge Demon 1700 builds have already been sold out!
