Remember we told you Gordon Murray was planning a “new version” of the T.33? Well, here it’s – the GMA T.33 Spider will be revealed on April 4, 2023.
A teaser image of the T.33 Spider has just popped up on Gordon Murray Automotive’s social media. The image showcases a digital sketch showing the car’s internals, similar to what they did with the T.50 teaser.
The design of the T.33 Spider is similar to the coupe and is likely to get a removable targa top, which is perfect for a car that’s designed to be a relatively comfortable cruiser.
Powering the T.33 Spider will be the same Cosworth-built 3.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 607 hp @ 10,500 rpm, with 90% of the maximum torque (399 lb-ft) available from 4,500-10,500 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
