Ferrari Luce gets trolled from outside the auto world as Toblerone steps in

The Ferrari Luce has been trending for all the wrong reasons. Everyone’s taking a go at it. Even the ex-Ferrari boss didn’t hesitate to express his unfiltered and true thoughts. So, as if all this wasn’t enough, Toblerone has entered the chat. Yes, the famous Swiss chocolate brand just trolled Ferrari’s first electric vehicle in its latest social media post.

Toblerone showcased a redesigned version of its iconic packaging. The famously sharp, triangular form was replaced with softened, rounded edges – paired with a bold caption: “THIS IS NOT HAPPENING.” The message didn’t stop there. The brand doubled down, stating that “rounded is not its thing” and that it would “always keep the angles.”

While playful jabs from within the automotive space were expected, this crossover feels different. It highlights just how polarising the Luce’s design is, sparking reactions far beyond petrolheads.

And yet, beneath the noise, the numbers remain staggering. The Ferrari Luce packs a four-motor setup pushing out a claimed 1,050 hp. Performance is brutal; 0–62 mph in just 2.5 seconds, and 0–124 mph in 6.8.

It’s a technical powerhouse, no question. But for now, it’s the design, and the internet’s response to it, that’s stealing the spotlight.
