One of the highlights of this year’s Mecum Monterey 2025 auction is the Tricolore Scuderia Collection. It comprises three highly sought-after Ferraris with low mileage and matching specs.
First up is a 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale – the last mid-engined Ferrari powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine. Instantly recognisable by its aggressive styling, the Speciale features a different nose section, fender louvres and a sculpted hood. It has a unique rear fascia with dual exhausts and has active aero flaps in the front and rear.
The supercar is finished in Bianco Avus with a factory-painted Tri-Colore Racing stripe, Nero wheels and Giallo Modena brake calipers. The interior is trimmed in Nero Alcantara with Giallo inserts and carbon fibre accents.
This special Ferrari is being offered along with a matching 458 Speciale Aperta. Only 499 of these were produced, and this particular example features a Bianco Italia exterior with the Italian tricolore stripes and yellow brake calipers.
Both cars are powered by one of the finest internal combustion engines ever made – a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 that pushes out 597 hp to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The coupe has 914 miles on the odometer, while the Aperta has been driven for just 308 miles.
The third car from the Tricolore Scuderia Collection is a 2017 Ferrari F12tdf with just 89 miles on the clock. Only 799 examples were built as a special edition of the F12 Berlinetta. It was ordered through Ferrari’s Extra Campionario program with a tonne of options.
This example is finished in Bianco Italia and has special Italia livery stripes, similar to the other two, black wheels and brake calipers painted in Rosso Corsa. The interior has Bianco and Nero leather upholstery.
Under the hood is a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that delivers 769 hp to the rear wheels, allowing the car to reach speeds in excess of 210 mph.
The Tricolore Scuderia Collection is headed for auction on August 15, 2026.
