Exclusive! Ferrari SF90 LM (Versione Speciale) could debut on June 26
Ferrari is set to unveil a more track-focused version of the SF90 Stradale soon. It’s said the new model could be called the SF90 LM. If the latest rumors are anything to go by, the official debut could take place on June 26, 2023.
The SF90 LM (short for ‘Le Mans’) features more aggressive bodywork with a redesigned front end, a low-slung splitter, and a reworked bonnet with vents. Additionally, the car also gets louvres on the fenders similar to those on the F12tdf, side skirts and bespoke wheels.
The Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale is expected to get an upgraded version of Ferrari’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid. This unit produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the standard car. The internal combustion engine is assisted by two electric motors mounted at the front and one at the rear, adding another 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.
The Ferrari SF90 LM will be produced in limited numbers. Sources tell us that 699 Coupes will be built along with 399 Apertas, which we believe will be reserved for Ferrari’s top clients.
