Exclusive! Ferrari might unveil the 296 Speciale Piloti tomorrow

Last month, we had reported that Ferrari was planning to introduce a limited edition ‘Piloti’ version of the 296 Speciale in June. Well, there hasn’t been any official word from Maranello yet, but rumors suggest that the 296 Speciale Piloti might be unveiled on June 13, 2025.

We’ve been told that the Piloti version will feature some “special upgrades”. These might include a unique livery inspired by the 296 Challenge race car and more carbon fibre parts as standard.

Like the 296 Speciale, the Piloti version will also have a stripped-out interior with lightweight carbon-backed seats wrapped in Alcantara.

The limited edition model is likely to be powered by the same upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid that produces 867 hp. It will also get a retuned suspension with stiffer and lighter titanium springs and Multimatic adjustable shock absorbers.
