Formula 1’s young prodigy Charles Leclerc has been spotted in a Monza SP2. The Ferrari driver was seen riding shotgun in Ferrari’s latest limited edition model somewhere around Maranello.
The Ferrari Monza SP2 Biposto is part of the Icona series. It is based on the 812 Superfast. It features a carbon fiber exterior with a low slung front end with a wide grille and a unique headlamp setup. The SP2 Biposto has two seats, while the SP1 Monoposto comes with a single seat and a tonneau cover on the passenger side.
Leclerc was spotted in a Monza SP2 that was finished in a dual-tone of red and blue with a yellow stripe. The car has silver 5-spoke alloy wheels and yellow brake calipers and it has brown leather interior.
Powering Monza SP2 is a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine. It produces 800 hp @ 8500 rpm and 530 lb-ft of torque @ 7000 rpm. 0-62 mph comes up in 2.9 seconds and 124 mph comes up in 7.9 seconds.
