BMW M2 Convertible by Dähler Design and Technik

BMW won’t be even slightly bothered to build an M2 convertible. So, Swiss tuners Dähler Design and Technik decided to create one themselves and I think they’ve pulled it off.

What you have here is a BMW 2-Series convertible that looks like the M2 and goes like it too. Dähler Design and Technik have created what we’ve always wanted by modified a regular BMW 240i. So, don’t let the looks fool you.

The Dähler Design and Technik M2 Convertible has the front end from the factory M2 coupe. The aggressive body kit with those swollen wheel arches looks just perfect on a convertible.

Under the hood, the 6-cylinder engine has been tuned to produce factory M2 coupe-rivaling performance. The stage 1 kit offers 402 hp and 428 lb-ft that can accelerate the M2 convertible from 0-60 mph in 4 sec with a top speed of 180 mph.

Stage 2 kit from Dähler Design and Technik gives the convertible 419 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. With this tune, the M2 convertible can reach a top speed of 186 mph. The tuners have also added larger 16-inch rotors with 8-piston calipers and adjustable coilovers all around. Sadly, you don’t get carbon ceramic brakes that are optional on the factory M2 coupe.

So, if you want an M2 convertible in your garage get in touch with Swiss.
