America’s first Ferrari 812 Competizione A delivered to David Lee
David Lee, known for his extensive Ferrari collection, has added another special model to his garage. His newest stallion is a Ferrari 812 Competizione A.
David recently took delivery of his 812 Competizione A, which also happens to be the first in America. It is one of 599 cars produced and the open-top or ‘Aperta’ version of the hot 812 Competizione.
David Lee’s 812 Competizione A was customized as part of Ferrari’s Tailor Made program. The car is finished in the Cavalcade spec featuring a pearlescent green shade called ‘Verde Volterra’. It has brown accents and a matching Alcantara interior.
The 812 Competizione A is powered by a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 830 hp @ 9250 rpm and 510 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm. While the engine is similar to the one that powers the Superfast, it now revs to 9500 rpm. As a result, the car rockets to 60 mph in just 2.85 seconds, while its top speed is 211 mph.
