BYD’s Yangwang brand is preparing an ultra-luxurious flagship sedan, and the latest spy photo has caught the imposing limousine being tested in the UAE. Internally known as the HU, the model has a distinctly Rolls-Royce-like presence, although the test mule is covered in heavy camouflage.
The front end features a tall, rectangular grille flanked by vertically stacked split headlights. Its upright proportions appear inspired by the same design language seen on other Yangwang models.

A LiDAR sensor can also be seen above the windshield. While this confirms roof-mounted laser-sensing hardware on the prototype, it doesn’t necessarily reveal what driver-assistance features the production car will offer.
As per the earlier official teaser images, from the side, the Rolls-Royce-like sedan looks exceptionally long, with a short front overhang, stretched rear section and what appear to be rear-hinged coach doors. Earlier reports have suggested a length of around 5,500mm.

Technical details remain under wraps, but the flagship could reportedly become BYD’s first model to use solid-state battery technology. Reports suggest pricing could exceed 2 million yuan, or roughly $300,000.
