It has been over three months since the first Koenigsegg Gemera rolled off the assembly line. Yet, testing continues, as a pre-production prototype was recently spotted at the Dubai Autodrome.

The Gemera is a 4-seater hypercar, something that is unheard of in this segment. It was unveiled in 2020, but production began in April this year. It will be limited to 300 units.

The Gemera “Mega-GT” is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors. It makes 2300 hp and 2028 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 9-speed Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.

The first customer car was delivered to a collector in Denmark. It is finished in a bright shade of red. Unfortunately, it was targeted by vandals when it was parked outside Copenhagen’s Hotel d’Angleterre.
