$1.7 million Brabus Bodo Cabriolet gets lifted onto a luxury superyacht

1 Min Read

Getting a supercar onto a yacht is not exactly a routine loading job, especially when that car is a Brabus Bodo Cabriolet. A new video surfaced on social media shows the spectacular convertible being carefully lifted by crane and lowered onto the 110-metre Emerald Sakara.

The footage shows a team working around the car as it is suspended above the yacht before being guided into position. Every movement appears carefully coordinated, with several people making sure the valuable machine reaches the deck safely.

The Brabus Bodo Cabriolet certainly deserves the attention. Its hand-built 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 produces 1,000 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It can hit 62 mph in 3.0 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 223 mph. Just 77 examples will be built.

The yacht is almost as impressive. Emerald Sakara measures 110 metres and can accommodate 100 guests across 50 suites and staterooms, with 64 crew members looking after them. It also features seven decks and a maximum speed of 22 knots.
