Mercedes-AMG has teased its new electric performance SUV. The performance wing of the German brand released multiple images of the upcoming EV on its social media channels.
Based on the teaser images, the new Mercedes-AMG electric performance SUV appears to be inspired by the recently launched GT 4 Door Coupe. Although under cover, we can see the vehicle’s LED DRLs that are quite familiar.
Apart from that, we can also see the masculine body lines of the SUV – huge wheel arches, sculpted bonnet, and large front grille that is most likely to feature multiple vertical slats, similar to what we’ve seen on the Mercedes-AMG GT 4 Door Coupe.
The rear end of the Mercedes-AMG electric performance SUV will sport circular LED taillights with an integrated 3-pointed star-like illumination design. Again, it’s identical to the GT 4 Door Coupe, but thankfully, there’s only one circular light and not three.
No official details of the upcoming electric performance SUV have been announced. It is expected to use the same set of motors and battery pack that brings its sedan sibling to life.
