In 2024, San Marino-based Eccentrica Cars unveiled a modern interpretation of a Lamborghini Diablo. The Eccentrica V12 was a restomod project that combined classic design with cutting-edge technology. Now, the company is gearing up to debut a roadster version based on the legendary Diablo Roadster.
The Eccentrica V12 Roadster will be unveiled to the public on August 10 during the Monterey Car Week. We’ve seen a few teasers of the new car in the last couple of days, hinting at a new open-top V12 supercar.
The teaser also confirms that the Roadster will be powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, which will be mated to a manual gearbox. It is likely to use the same 5.7-liter V12 that powers the coupe. It produces 550 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. New camshafts, an electronic throttle body, and an optimized flywheel help improve the engine performance.
The roadster will be highly exclusive, just like the coupe, of which only 19 examples are being built.
