It’s been almost six years since the unveiling of the limited-edition McLaren Sabre. Only 15 examples were built exclusively for the US market, and one of these was recently spotted in Mexico City.
This military green McLaren Sabre is owned by the famous supercar collector @donhuayra and is registered in the US state of Montana.
The Sabre was the most powerful non-hybrid McLaren at the time. It uses the brand’s ubiquitous 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 824 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 218 mph.
The Sabre is essentially a road-legal version of the Senna GTR. It features a bespoke exterior and a massive rear spoiler similar to the track car.
McLaren was offering the supercar for around $3.5 million at the time of launch. Today, this exclusive model commands a price of more than $5 million.
