Mercedes-Benz took to its social media channels to tease the new G-Class Cabriolet. The German brand put up a short video of the new stylish SUV to keep us enthusiasts on our toes.
Being a teaser, not much has been shown in the footage. But the small clip is enough to clearly reveal the primary feature of the upcoming Mercedes G-Class Cabriolet.
The video shows the silhouette of a G-Class, with its roof opening and folding into the space behind. Mercedes has also used the caption, “Unfolding a new chapter for the G-Class”, which is more than enough to announce that it’s nothing else but the Cabriolet version of the brand’s popular SUV.
Interestingly, there are multiple G-Class Cabriolet models out there created by renowned car builders and modifiers. So we do have an idea of how the vehicle would look in this configuration. Also, its prototype was officially revealed late last year.
Mercedes hasn’t shared any technical details yet. However, we can expect to see the same set of engines as the standard model, paired with an automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
