Land Rover is clearly ready to rethink what a Range Rover can be. The new Range Rover GT doesn’t follow the usual SUV formula. It has a lower stance and a sleek, almost wagon-like silhouette.
Larger than the Velar and closer in size to the Range Rover Sport, the GT stands out with its gently sloping roofline. It’s not something you’d typically associate with the badge, but it works.

The new Range Rover GT rides on Land Rover’s new EMA platform. For now, it’s fully electric, though a hybrid version is expected later. Technical details are still under wraps, but this isn’t likely to be the most off-road-focused Range Rover. It’s built more for long, effortless drives than rough terrain.
The cabin is minimal without feeling cold. There are screens, yes, but they don’t dominate the space. Physical controls haven’t disappeared entirely either, which is a welcome touch. There are also frameless doors, and the overall layout feels airy.

Buyers can choose between a 2+2 layout or a more practical rear bench. In the four-seat setup, rear passengers get a dedicated console with controls and charging options. There’s also plenty of legroom and a full-glass roof that enhances the airy feel.
