A prototype of the Lamborghini Temerario Spyder has been spotted at the Nurburgring. The open-top version of the brand’s V8 hybrid supercar is expected to make its global debut by the end of this year.
Despite the fact that the Temerario Spyder was wearing heavy camouflage, it’s clear that the car will have a similar design to the coupe, except for the roof, which, according to media reports, will be a fabric top that will fold away into a small area between the rear bulkhead and the seats.
Some of the design elements that have been carried over from the coupe include the slim LED headlamps and hexagonal DRLs, bumpers and side vents.
At the heart of the Temerario Spyder will be the same high-revving 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid. The internal combustion engine is paired with three electric motors to produce 907 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque.
