A rare 630 hp Maserati MC12 has just changed hands for a staggering $9.46 million at the Indy 2026 auction, reminding the world just how special it truly is.
This particular 2005 model, one of just 25 built that year, wears the signature Bianco Fuji over Blu Victory finish, paired with a beautifully preserved blue leather interior. The odometer reads a mere 320 miles (515 km), making it essentially untouched.

Beneath its impossibly dramatic bodywork lies a carbon-fibre and Nomex monocoque, closely tied to the Ferrari Enzo but reimagined with a longer, more purposeful silhouette. It comes with independent wishbone front and rear suspension with anti-dive and anti-squat geometries, and 4-wheel Brembo cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes.
At the heart of the Maserati MC12 sits a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 producing 630 hp. It’s paired to a six-speed Cambiocorsa gearbox, delivering a driving experience that feels raw, mechanical, and old-school. Flat out, it’ll surge to 214 mph (345 km/h), numbers that were outrageous for its time and still deeply impressive today.
